The citadel of salah al din (saladin) the citadel is a fortress built in 1176 by sultan salah el-din known as saladin. Today dominated by the most modern mosque of Mohamed Ali. Pasha and viceroy  of Egypt (1760-1849)

Built in the ottoman style that has become one of the symbols of cairo the citadel is currently home to several museums

Dahshur

The Pyramid of Meedum during the Old Kingdom during the reign of King Sneferu of the Fourth Dynasty in Meedum (2620 BC); Three mastabas currently appear from it, and it was the fifth largest pyramid in Egypt when it was built. It seems that this pyramid was not intended to be a tomb for Snefru, but rather to be a tomb or pyramids

Abydos

Considered one of the most important archaeological sites in Egypt, the sacred city of Abydos was the site of many ancient temples, including Umm el-Qa’ab, a royal necropolis where early pharaohs were entombed.[3] These tombs began to be seen as extremely significant burials and in later times it became desirable to be buried in the area, leading to the growth of the town’s importance as a cult site.
