TravelWell Expeditions is an Australian-owned and operated tour company offering unique remote camping tours with just that little bit extra. 

With a focus on indigenous culture and connecting to country, our aim is to showcase some of Australia’s most beautiful and isolated locations safely, in comfort and style.

With our more popular signature “Starlight Hotel” style of tour, we travel in modern 4WD vehicles, and camp under the stars in a full-size bed, Hotel style. 

Our tours are for the true adventurous souls who would like to see all the iconic places while avoiding the crowds. The TravelWell experience is designed for all those who crave adventure but enjoy the creature comforts of accommodated journeys.

OUR GUIDES

All TravelWell guides are experienced operators and are knowledgeable in the regions that we travel. Your personable and professional guide will make sure your tour experience is safe, fun, and enjoyable.

All guides employed by TravelWell will be fully accredited in the areas that they will be taking you. They also have:

OUR VEHICLES

All vehicles that the TravelWell Expedition company uses are selected for the conditions in which we travel. Depending on your style of tour, we will operate a region-specific vehicle. Normally a 4WD or something similar, it will be safe and reliable and get you to your destination.

All vehicles are fitted with the following:

  • Satellite Phone

  • Forward Facing Seats

  • Comprehensive Remote First Aid Kit

  • GPS Navigation and Tracking

  • UHF Radio

  • Recovery Equipment

  • Satellite Tracking Unit (handheld and vehicle)

  • Fridge/Freezers

  • Air-Conditioning

TravelWell Expeditions currently has three tours operating throughout the year. From May to August we operate in the Kimberley utilising the best months of the dry season to view the waterfalls and the perfect climate that comes with it. 

In the shoulder months of this season, we offer trips from Perth to Alice Springs, taking in the ever-rolling sites of the western desert through to Central Australia. 

We also operate a select number of Cape to Cape trips in the southwest, a 10-day trip walking the 124 km lighthouse track from Cape Leeuwin to Cape Naturaliste in the Southwest WA.

If you have somewhere in particular that you would like to go, or you’ve just had a really good time with us we are happy to arrange charters to other areas as we take pride in our charter work and would really like to showcase other regions.

This 123 km trail winds through coastal forests, cliffs, and sandy beaches, offering a mix of terrains for moderate to experienced walkers. Due to the area, we only offer the Starlight Hotel or Private Charters options here.
